A song I wrote last night

I couldn't sleep last night and this little song worked its' way into my brain and wouldn't let me rest unless I wrote it down. (I finished it at two in the morning X_X) So here it is. It is titled 'I Am'.


I Am:

I am the Dragon, flying high
I am the Drake, with fire in his eye
No one can tame me. No one can hold me.
I am bound to no living thing.

For I am free. I am free.
Wild and uncontrolled as the wind.
I live upon this land.

I am the Kraken, master of the seas
I am the Serpent, no one longer than me
No one can tame me. No one can hold me.
I am bound to no living thing.

For I am independent. Undependent.
No one do I serve unless it's my own wild will.
I am free.

I am the Roc, blocking out the sun
I am the Pheonix, burning only one
No one can tame me. No one can hold me.
I am bound to no living thing.

For I am glorious. Magnificent.
Held in awe by those around me.
I am my own. I am me.

I am your nightmare, looming and unforbidding
I am you dream, calm and softly shining
No one can tame me. No one can hold me.
I am bound to no living thing.

I am a thought, an idea. No more than a wisp
upon the wind. Do you truly believe, even though you cannot see? I just hope that I can inspire and
that you'll think of me again.

I hope you liked it. You'd better seeing as it kept me up until two o'clock. jkjk. You don't have to like it, but I would like your opinions please.
