A small showcase of Before and After's on toys that have been fully restored.
- Beach Ball
Like most Sunshine Ponies, Beach Ball had terribly frizzed hair. Light dirt covered her body and there were a few stray paint marks. Color changing hair is tricky to work with; if soap gets anywhere near it, it will no longer work. Add to that the tendency to melt if heat is applied and you've got a nasty mess. After some careful work, I managed to straighten the hair and preserve the UV capabilities. She received a light bath and the stray marks were removed. Her hair was left straight in the photos so the difference in the frizzed UV reactive hair would show clearly. - Beach Ball

This 1997 Toy Fair Exclusive variant of the 1st release Wildwing came to me pretty banged up when I purchased him. What the hell happened to this guy? Did he walk face first into a brick wall? I simply can't allow my personal action figures to look this messed up. So, I carefully straightened out his beak after warming it with a hair dryer. He looks so much better now!
